White-Bellied Caiques are compact birds, typically 23-25 cm in length and weighing between 150-170 grams. They are noted for their beautiful contrasting coloration, sporting a bright white belly, green wings and back, a yellow-orange head and neck, and a pinkish horn-colored beak.
White-Bellied Caiques are known for their playful and energetic nature. They are often seen hopping, swinging, and bouncing around their cage or playing with toys. They are intelligent birds, capable of learning tricks and commands with proper training.
White-Bellied Caiques require a balanced diet of pellets, fruits, and vegetables. They need plenty of toys and perches in their cage for mental stimulation and physical exercise. They also enjoy social interaction and benefit from regular out-of-cage time in a safe, bird-proofed area.
